Leslie Hollowell
Hey Girls, my name is Leslie Hollowell. I am excited to be your Director of Girls Ministry here at Bellevue. There is nothing I am more passionate about than seeing you come to know Jesus Christ and all that He desires for your life. I love to share with you from His Word about who He is and what He did for you and I feel honored and privileged that He would entrust me with that opportunity. My desire is to strive to provide a variety of ways to help push you as girls towards Christ and to also seek to meet you where you are in your walk with Christ.
Ronnie and I were married on April 12, 2008. I am proof at 37 that God is faithful and has our best interest at heart. I am amazingly blessed to soon be his wife and look forward to the adventures that God has planned for us as we learn to serve Him together.
Ronnie and I both love to travel, serve, watch movies, and cook. (He's a much better cook than I am!) I am currently taking scuba diving lessons also and I'll keep you updated if this is to become a favorite hobby of mine.
Now, a few things about me! I moved from Alabama about 2 ½ years ago. Prior to coming on staff at Bellevue, I was an elementary School teacher, and I must admit... I loved it! Thus, God challenged me to teach older kids His Word, and without a doubt, I love it too!
One of my favorite books that I highly recommend is Believing God, by Beth Moore. It truly challenges you to step out of your comfort zone in your faith and believe God for the impossible. My favorite movie is (don't laugh) The Fugitive with Harrison Ford, what can I say? I love a good action movie... probably because I'm such a hyper person, and I also love to see the truth uncovered! My favorite book of the Bible is a toss up between Deuteronomy and Isaiah... Just read them... there's so much meat...
